Transforming lives in Solomon Islands through Water and Sanitation Hygiene (WaSH)

To develop partnerships that empower communities to improve their health and quality of life through action and education about WaSH (Water and Sanitation Hygiene).

“The great aim of education is not knowledge but action.”

Herbert Spencer

The lack of daily access to safe water and sanitation in Solomon Islands can’t be solved by providing pipes, taps, and toilets. Appropriate training, tools, resources, and guidance is also necessary.  Empowering communities with skills and knowledge, and developing local leaders will enable sustainable change in water management, maintenance, and hygiene.
